The Mark Twain Home Foundation (MTHF) operates the Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum. The Mission of the Mark Twain Home Foundation is to promote awareness and appreciation of the life and works for Mark Twain and to demonstrate the relevance of his stories and ideas to the world. The museum consists of the original boyhood home and eight other buildings that allow visitors to learn more about where the stories began with young Sam Clemens growing up in Hannibal.
